Islamic Services

The Islamic Services wing of KMCA is dedicated to establish a conducive Islamic environment for its members and build a strong foundation that would benefit the Ummah at large.

Objectives:

• • Promote and conduct social and cultural programs.
• • Promote friendly relations between Muslims and non-Muslims.
• • Endeavor to make Islamic teachings known to interested non-Muslims.
• As part of our efforts, we did the following events in 2016.

Iftar

The first program we organized was the Iftar gathering, which brought people together during the holy month of Ramzan. We also had various workshops like robotics, crafts, chess organized for kids across different age groups on the same day.

Eid-ul- Fitr

The biggest event of the year was held on the 9 th of July, 2016 to commemorate the holy day of Eid-ul- Fitr. Along with some great food, we also saw kids competing in a variety of events like Qur’an recitation, Nasheed, JAM and Eid Card compilation. At the end of the day, it was an amazing fun-filled evening as vouched by the crowd who had attended. Eid-ul- Adha 

In order to celebrate Eid-al- Adha, KMCA brought together its members on the 1 st of October, 2016, which was attended by more than 250 guests. There were lots of fun games for everyone along with some traditional potluck lunch.

Udhiyah

KMCA partnered with volunteers from a poor village in Tanzania to do Udhiyah, and became part of the noble mission to help the needy, while fulfilling our Qurbani obligations.
